Key Responsibilities
- Operating Roll-On Roll-Off (RoRo) vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Delivering, exchanging, and collecting RoRo containers and skips (3-4 runs).
- Transporting waste, recycling materials, construction waste, and commercial waste.
- Ensuring all loads are secure and transported in line with safety regulations.
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting.
- Completing collection notes and delivery paperwork accurately.
- Providing excellent customer service at collection and delivery points.
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence.
- Valid Driver CPC.
- Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous experience as a RoRo Driver, Roll-On Roll-Off Driver, Skip Driver, Hook Lift Driver, HGV Class 2 Driver, LGV Driver, Waste Management Driver, Recycling Driver, Commercial Waste Driver, Refuse Driver, or Construction Waste Driver (preferred).
- Good understanding of transport compliance and road safety regulations.
- Reliable, professional, and hard-working approach.
