Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and in full compliance with ADR regulations and safety guidelines for dangerous goods.
- Complete scheduled multi-drop deliveries to commercial, retail, or industrial premises; perform timely collections.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report defects to the transport office.
- Secure cargo, including gas cylinders or waste containers, with appropriate manual handling as required.
- Complete and maintain accurate tachograph records, delivery notes, and regulatory dangerous goods documentation.
Requirements
- Licence: Valid UK HGV/LGV Class 2 (Cat C) licence.
- Qualifications: Current in-date Driver Qualification Card (CPC) and Digital Tachograph Card.
- ADR Certification: Valid ADR card (minimum Class 2 Gases in Packages).
- Experience: Ideally 3 years licence history with at least 180 days of driving in the past 2 years.
- Licence Cleanliness: Maximum 3 penalty points; no active CU80, MS90, CD, DR, DD, IN, or TT endorsements.
- Assessments/Checks: Willingness to undertake a driving assessment, a DBS criminal records check, and Drug & Alcohol test.
