Senior HV Electrical Engineer

Location: North Yorkshire

Rate: £65 per hour

Initial 6-month contract

Key experience required:

  • Supporting HV operations across renewable and energy storage assets
  • Experience working on systems up to 400kV
  • Knowledge of HV switching procedures and operational safety standards
  • Familiarity with HV plant including transformers, switchgear and protection relays
  • Understanding of Grid Code requirements including G99/G100 and RfG
  • Supporting outage planning, switching schedules and operational activities
  • Experience reviewing protection schemes and relay coordination
  • Strong understanding of HV asset maintenance and operational performance
  • Ability to maintain technical and operational documentation
  • Previous experience within BESS, renewables or utility-scale generation projects
  • Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or equivalent industry experience
