Job Overview
HGV Class 1 and 2 Drivers are required in Harlow for a full‑time position paying £22 per hour.
The role involves multi‑drop deliveries across a fixed 3‑week rolling rota with shifts starting between 04:00 and 05:00 and lasting 9 to 13 hours.
There is no Sunday working and a guaranteed minimum of 8 hours pay per shift.
Immediate starts are available through Rapier Employment.
Working Pattern
• Fixed 3‑week rolling rota
- Week 1: Monday – Thursday
- Week 2: Wednesday – Saturday
- Week 3: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
- Optional additional days available.
- Shift length: 9–13 hours
- Role and Responsibilities
- Multi‑drop deliveries (typically 6–8 drops per shift) of chilled, frozen and ambient goods.
- Use cages and tail lifts with electric pallet truck training provided.
- Deliver to convenience stores on planned routes.
- Complete vehicle checks and delivery paperwork.
- Provide professional and friendly customer service.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 or 2 licence (Category C/C+E).
- Valid Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph Card.
- Maximum 6 penalty points (minor offences only).
- Reliable, professional, and customer‑focused attitude.
- Good communication and time‑management skills.
- Flexibility to work the rota.
