About the Role
Position
Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant
Location
Hailsham, East Sussex
Hours
Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Salary
£85–£95 per day (dependent on experience)
Start Date
Wednesday 2nd September
Responsibilities
- Support children aged 3–4 years in their learning and development.
- Deliver high-quality play‑based learning in line with the EYFS.
- Work closely with the class teacher and Early Years team to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
- Encourage children’s independence, communication and social development.
- Observe and record children’s progress, contributing to assessments where appropriate.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
- Help maintain a safe, happy and stimulating nursery environment.
Qualifications
- Level 3 Early Years or Teaching Assistant qualification.
- Experience working with young children in a nursery or school setting.
- Good understanding of the EYFS framework.
- Patient, nurturing and passionate about supporting children’s development.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, enthusiastic and committed to helping every child reach their potential.
