This Finance Manager role is a permanent, full‑time position with Sheridan Maine, based in Central London. The annual salary ranges from £70,000 to £80,000. The role is office‑based and involves overseeing the day‑to‑day finance operations of a growing hospitality organisation, reporting directly to the Finance Director and partnering with senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports and variance analysis
- Oversee month‑end processes, balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls
- Manage cash flow forecasting and supplier payments
- Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
- Consolidate financial information across multiple entities
- Oversee payroll processes and ensure statutory compliance
- Prepare information for year‑end audit and statutory reporting
- Monitor and improve financial processes and internal controls
- Manage, mentor and develop a small finance team
- Provide financial analysis and support business improvement projects
Qualifications
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification
- Previous experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar role
- Strong management accounting and financial reporting experience
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business
- Experience within hospitality, leisure or another fast‑paced multi‑site environment is advantageous
- Eligibility to work in the UK on a full‑time basis without restriction
