Full-time HGV Class 1 Driver (Nights) based in Gloucester. Pay £17.71 per hour. Start Monday night through Friday night, with potential rosters into Saturday morning. The role involves scheduled deliveries and collections for a national client.
Shift Times
20:00 - 01:00 (start Monday night to Friday night, in to Saturday morning). Ongoing assignment with consistent night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Operate independently to deliver goods during night shifts.
- Transport goods safely, efficiently and in compliance with legal and company standards.
- Perform scheduled routes including full pallet deliveries using curtain-side vehicles; perform tail-lift and pallet-truck operations where required.
- Distance runs available; handle forklift or trailer swaps as needed.
Requirements
- Valid UK Class 1 (C E) licence.
- Valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Over 21 years of age (insurance purposes).
- No more than 9 penalty points for minor endorsements.
- Positive, professional and customer-focused attitude.
- Clean and tidy vehicle maintenance.
- Successful completion of company induction, theory assessment, vehicle checks, driving assessment and reversing test.
