This role is for a 7.5T Driver based in Gloucestershire, offering up to £13.54 per hour on a temporary contract. The role involves driving a 7.5‑tonne beavertail vehicle for a tool hire firm, delivering and collecting equipment from commercial and residential sites.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and secure plant machinery with ratchet straps.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and delivery documentation.
- Provide professional customer service at delivery locations.
- Ensure all deliveries are punctual, safe, and on schedule.
Requirements
- Full UK Category C1 (7.5T) driving licence.
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous experience driving a 7.5T vehicle, particularly a beavertail.
- Experience loading and securing equipment with ratchet straps.
- Good understanding of driver hours and road transport regulations.
- Positive attitude with a strong focus on safety and customer service.
