Join a world-renowned aerospace organisation as a Senior Electrical Engineer Building Services in Preston 1-3 days per week. Due to a drive for greater success, this advanced manufacturing business is currently searching for a Senior Electrical Engineer to add to their talented, hardworking team in Preston on an initial 12 months contract. Striving for innovation and creativity you can ensure no two days will be the same.

The rate per hour: £60.69 per hour inside IR35 / umbrella.

The role:

  • Reports to the RE&I S Programmes Principal Building Services Engineer.
  • Assist or lead the preparation of a range of documents and concept design solutions for projects in support of land, sea, and air operations, personnel training, and production & maintenance facilities throughout the UK.
  • Work as part of a high performing team to deliver construction / FM projects to ensure the correct Engineering support is applied through the project lifecycle.
  • Management and oversight of external design consultants/ specialists as appropriate, inspection of construction works and undertaking surveys of existing infrastructure, writing of technical reports/ papers and presenting findings to others.

The Role Holder:

  • Knowledge and experience in the use of CAD Software: Autocad, Revit.
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel, Project.
  • Good working experience across project lifecycle phases, demonstrating a whole-life approach to engineering.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of managing construction and FM Engineering processes.
  • Post graduate experience in the design and construction of infrastructure projects.
