This temporary assignment, commencing immediately for six weeks, places a Grade 4 Administrator 2026 within a respected Higher Education establishment in Glasgow’s West End.
Working Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm, you will deliver comprehensive departmental support.
Duties encompass general clerical tasks, audio and copy typing, data entry, plus scanning, filing, and archiving.
A key element involves typing medical reports, which may contain distressing content.
Candidates should possess relevant prior experience, excellent typing proficiency, and strong computer literacy with MS Office.
Familiarity with medical terminology is advantageous.
The hourly rate is £14.14, offered through Pertemps Glasgow Perm Hub.

Our client, a highly respected Higher Education establishment based in Glasgow, requires an Administrator on a temporary basis.
The role is starting immediately for an initial 6 week period.
Main purpose of role
To provide an efficient and effective administrative support for the department.

Key Skills and Requirements
- Relevant experience gained in a similar role
- Excellent typing skills
- Medical Terminology advantageous
- High degree of computer literacy including familiarity with MS Office
- Used to working with information of a highly sensitive and confidential nature
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
- Able to work flexibly and effectively under pressure
