Join a world-renowned aerospace organisation as a SHE Lead Advisor (nightshift) in Govan Monday Night to Thursday Night. Due to a drive for greater success, this advanced manufacturing business is currently searching for a SHE Lead Advisor to add to their talented, hardworking team in Govan on an initial 12 months contract. The rate per hour: £34.53 nightshift uplift per hour inside IR35 / umbrella.

The role:

  • The role will support the development and/or deployment of the Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) policy, systems and objectives for the Naval Ships business.
  • The role will be responsible for providing competent SHE advice, systems and assurance to line leaders/managers, enabling them to successfully manage SHE and to achieve company strategic goals.
  • The role is part of a cross-discipline team of SHE professionals working across the Naval Ships sites to deliver specified packages of work/improvement projects.

The Role Holder:

  • A minimum of five years post-qualification experience in applying health and safety knowledge and processes in work-related situations.
  • One or more of the following QCF/NQF Level 5 (or higher) qualifications: NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety; Level 5 NVQ in Occupational Safety and Health Practice; Level 6 NCRQ Diploma in Applied Health and Safety; Safety, Health Honours Degree (Bachelors or Higher).   • Chartered membership of an appropriate professional health and safety institution is desirable.
