The Depot Coordinator position based in Kidlington is a full-time role, offering a salary of up to £33,000 per annum depending on experience. You will manage the real-time availability of mobile plant equipment and coordinate direct delivery of engineering parts to Thames Water Field Teams. Maintaining Health & Safety, Environmental, Water Quality and Plant standards is central to this post.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring all plant and signage are received, secured, delivered and collected to customer service levels.
- Implementing robust monitoring processes for damage and maintenance.
- Providing real-time visibility of holdings using SAP or similar systems.
- Ensuring that controls and processes adhere to audit and governance protocols.
- Managing and coordinating plant damage procedures.
- Ensuring all plants are in good working order and necessary repairs/services are carried out in line with the manufacturer's recommendations.
- Investigating and addressing all discrepancies immediately with relevant stakeholders and internal specialists.
Base Location - Kidlington - OX5 1QT. 45 hours per week, Monday-Friday. 7:30 am – 5 pm.
To thrive in this role, the essential criteria you’ll need are:
- Demonstrable experience in managing budgets.
- Demonstrable commercial awareness and understanding.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Experience in a plant hire or operational environment is desirable.
- Operating either a counterbalance or telehandler forklift is desirable but not essential, as training can be provided.
Salary up to £33,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience. 24 days holiday per year, increasing to 28 with the length of service (Plus bank holidays). If required, training and qualification for Forklift licences will be provided. Contributory pension – Defined Contribution - Maximum of 12% -2x employee contribution.
