Pertemps Coventry Commercial is recruiting a temporary FLT Driver to join a busy manufacturing site in Leamington Spa.

The role pays £16.18 per hour and offers a weekly shift allowance of £115.35 for completed shift rotations.

Shift Pattern

The position operates on a rotating weekly pattern

  • Week 1 (Day shifts): Monday‑Thursday 06:00‑14:30, Friday 06:00‑12:00.
  • Week 2 (Afternoon shifts): Monday‑Thursday 14:30‑23:00, Friday 12:00‑18:00.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload deliveries and supply production areas with materials.
  • Transport finished goods to storage locations.
  • Manually handle materials weighing up to 25kg.
  • Accurately book stock in and out and carry out stock movements and inventory tasks.
  • Complete daily FLT safety checks and maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures.

Requirements

  • Valid counterbalance FLT licence (RTITB, ITSSAR or equivalent).
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Comfortable with manual handling of loads up to 25kg.
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
  • Able to work the rotating shift pattern.
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to safe working practices.
