Based from Exeter, you will take a senior commercial role within the business, overseeing the commercial performance of civil engineering projects while working closely with operational teams and supporting the wider commercial function.
The Role
- Taking commercial responsibility for civil engineering projects
- Leading, supporting and developing members of the commercial team
- Cost control, forecasting and commercial reporting

The Candidate
- Applications are welcomed from established Managing Quantity Surveyors as well as experienced Senior Quantity Surveyors ready to progress into an MQS position.
- You will ideally have strong Quantity Surveying experience within civil engineering or infrastructure
- Experience commercially managing civil engineering projects
- Good contractual knowledge, ideally including NEC
- Strong cost management, forecasting and reporting experience
- Experience managing or supporting other members of a commercial team
- Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- The confidence to work closely with operational teams, senior management and clients
- A relevant Quantity Surveying/commercial qualification or equivalent industry experience
