Site Manager - Solar PV & BESS
Location: Hertfordshire - anticipated initial project
Salary: £55,000-£65,000 per annum, depending on experience
Permanent | UK-wide travel and working away required
I'm recruiting a Site Manager to oversee construction activities on utility-scale Solar PV and BESS projects for an established renewable energy business.
You'll lead daily site operations, coordinating teams and subcontractors to deliver safe, high-quality work against the construction programme.
The role
- Manage day-to-day site operations and construction activities.
- Coordinate subcontractors, labour, deliveries and site resources.
- Monitor progress and resolve site delivery issues.
- Maintain site safety, quality standards and accurate records.
- Work closely with the Project Manager through construction and handover.
What you'll need
- Proven site management experience on utility-scale ground-mounted Solar PV projects.
- Strong practical construction knowledge and subcontractor leadership experience.
- A track record of managing safety, quality and programme performance.
- Appropriate industry qualifications and valid site management certifications.
- Temporary Works Coordinator or Supervisor experience/qualifications would be advantageous.
- BESS experience would be beneficial.
- Flexibility to travel and work away on projects across the UK.
Initial project allocations are subject to confirmation. This is a UK-wide delivery role, with locations changing according to project requirements.
