On behalf of my client, a leading Aerospace and Defence Electronics organisation based in Greater Manchester I am pleased to present the opportunity for an Electronics Test Technician on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing Sub-assembly and Final assembly items in accordance with defined Test Procedures and/or relevant Manufacturing and Test Instructions. This is a truly unique opportunity to join the business in a period of exciting growth, coupled with them having recently relocated to smart new offices in Rochdale with excellent transport links. You will be responsible for: Providing Test Sub and Top assemblies to support the manufacturing process Diagnosing and analysing failures down to component level Completion of test reports and records in accordance with defined Test procedures Supporting design and NPI teams in developing Test Schedules for new products Performing test equipment maintenance as defined within the appropriate maintenance procedures Supporting Avionics Test and Environmental Test You: HNC or equivalent experience Engineering / technical experience in electronics assembly, testing and diagnostics Understanding of drawings and the schematics of products to trace the root cause of a failure Excellent cross functional team working skills The package: * You\’ll receive a very competitive salary (£££ offered depends on level of experience), an early Friday finish and other benefits including pension, life assurance and 25 days\’ (plus bank holidays).
