Electrical Design Engineer
Hybrid working (3 days a week in the office)

Are you an Electrical Design Engineer who is looking for a new contract to start within the next 6 weeks? If so, please read on
Essential skillset:
At least 6 years experience as an Electrical Design Engineer producing single line diagrams, BOMs, cable calcs and schematics
Experienced using AutoCAD Electrical to produce electrical drawings such as cable design, control panel design, motor control centre design
Experienced in the full design lifecycle (concept through to detailed design)
Producing test documents for FAT (factory acceptance testing)
Experience producing detailed designs compliant with BS EN 60204 and BS7671
Working knowledge of electrical distribution equipment, MCC\’s and Siemens PLC\’s
Desirable (not essential) skillset:
AC/DC drives systems knowledge and understanding
Hydraulic systems knowledge
Knowledge of Safety Related Control Systems to working to BS EN IEC 62061 or BS EN ISO 13849 standards
