I\’m recruiting at the moment for an Electrical CAD Designer, to work for a leading company in nuclear engineering solutions. The role will be based from their Warrington office, on a hybrid arrangement (3 days per week in the office).
The successful candidate will be working on a variety of projects across civil nuclear construction, decommissioning, and defence, so you must be SC clearable to be eligible for this position.
Day to day activities will include creating of designs and drawings at different stages of the design lifecycle, adhering to various standards including nuclear and defence. You will also prepare and maintain project documentation, alongside working with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure the functionality and delivery of designs.
ExperienceA background in electrical CAD is required (any mainstream software) and formal education in the industry, either through an apprenticeship, HNC/HND or a university degree.
