I'm recruiting at the moment for an Electrical CAD Designer, to work for a leading company in nuclear engineering solutions. The role will be based from their Warrington office, on a hybrid arrangement (3 days per week in the office).
The successful candidate will be working on a variety of projects across civil nuclear construction, decommissioning, and defence, so you must be SC clearable to be eligible for this position.
Day to day activities will include:
- Creating designs and drawings at different stages of the design lifecycle
- Adhering to various standards including nuclear and defence
- Preparing and maintaining project documentation
- Working with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure the functionality and delivery of designs
Experience:
- A background in electrical CAD is required (any mainstream software)
- Formal education in the industry, either through an apprenticeship, HNC/HND or a university degree
