- Perform soldering, crimping, and general wiring.
- Detect workmanship issues in precision harsh‑environment electronics.
- Conduct calculations for diagnostic operations (ratios, percentages, fractions, weights).
- Use test and build equipment, calculators, and computers.
- Conduct independent self‑assessments to identify process improvements.
Qualifications
- IPC certification (IPC 620 or J‑Std) preferred.
- Understanding of Lean and 5S improvement methods.
- Experience with calculator, computer, and related equipment.
- Experience with electronics test and build equipment.
- Knowledge of safety equipment requirements.
- Commercial experience in soldering, crimping and general wiring for harsh‑environment electronics.
