Plumber / Heating Engineer – September Start (Plant Rooms & Large Scale Systems) The company is seeking an experienced Plumber / Heating Engineer to join their team from September, working primarily across commercial sites, plant rooms, and large scale heating systems.

The role includes out of town working as required for commercial projects.

About the Role

This position is focused on commercial environments, including plant rooms, multi boiler setups, distribution systems, and commercial heating infrastructure.

You’ll carry out fault finding, maintenance, system checks, and reactive work across offices, industrial units, and other commercial premises.

Domestic work may be required occasionally, but the core workload is commercial.

Key Responsibilities

  • Commercial plumbing — pipework, system upgrades, component replacement
  • Plant room operations — inspections, maintenance, component replacement
  • Commercial heating systems — diagnostics, system checks, large scale system support
  • Reactive maintenance across commercial sites

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing or equivalent
  • Gas Safe registration (preferred)

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work independently on commercial sites, including out of town work
