Material Handler (FLT Driver) based in Kingswinford, working full-time on a temporary basis for £14.71 per hour.

Your schedule runs Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 4.30pm.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Material Handler to join our client.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence who has experience working within a busy warehouse, manufacturing or production environment.

The Role

As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials, components and finished products around the site, supporting both warehouse and production operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operating a Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently.
  • Moving raw materials, components and finished goods around the site.
  • Loading and unloading deliveries.
  • Supplying materials to production areas as required.
  • Storing materials correctly and maintaining accurate stock locations.
  • Supporting warehouse and manufacturing teams with material movements.
  • Loading and preparing products for dispatch.
  • Carrying out basic checks on materials and products.
  • Following site Health & Safety procedures at all times.
  • Keeping work areas clean, tidy and organised.
  • Completing paperwork and/or system records where required.
  • Working as part of a team to meet production and delivery deadlines.

Successful candidate will have

  • A valid Counterbalance FLT Licence.
  • Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse, manufacturing or production environment.
  • Experience handling materials safely.
  • Good awareness of Health & Safety requirements.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • A reliable and hardworking attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work the required shift pattern.
