I'm currently supporting a specialist engineering business delivering complex industrial and energy infrastructure projects across Germany and Europe. We're looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer with a background in large industrial plants, power generation, process engineering or heavy industrial environments. This is a full lifecycle engineering role covering project planning, technical coordination, site support and commissioning activities across a range of major infrastructure projects.

The Role

  • You'll support the delivery of complex industrial Anlagenbau projects across sectors including:
    • Power generation
    • Waste-to-energy
    • Biogas
    • Industrial process plants
    • Heat pump and environmental systems

Projects are located across Germany and Europe including Scandinavia, France, Poland and Italy. The role combines office engineering, project coordination and occasional site presence during installation and commissioning phases.

Responsibilities

  • Electrical engineering support across full project lifecycle
  • Coordination of MV/LV systems, motors, generators and industrial electrical infrastructure
  • Technical support during installation and commissioning activities
  • Vendor and contractor coordination
  • Site visits and project progress reviews
  • Supporting compliance with European electrical codes and standards
  • Working closely with project teams, clients and subcontractors

Requirements

  • Degree or qualification in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience within:
    • Power plants
    • Industrial/process plants
    • EPC projects
    • Refinery / chemical / energy sectors
  • Strong MV/LV electrical knowledge
  • Experience with industrial electrical systems and infrastructure
  • German language skills at B2 level or above
  • English communication skills
  • Comfortable with occasional European travel
