The Transport Service Coordinator supports daily transport operations by organising drivers, vehicles, and routes to guarantee safe, timely service delivery in Dewsbury.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily transport schedules and allocate work to drivers and vehicles.
  • Communicate with drivers, customers, and internal teams to provide updates and resolve issues.
  • Support drivers throughout the day and conduct end‑of‑shift debriefs.
  • Report safety concerns, vehicle or container damage, and follow company safety procedures.
  • Ensure transport operations comply with legal requirements, including the Working Time Directive (WTD) and Operator Licence regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records and update transport systems as required.
