The Customer Service Operative post at Edinburgh Bus Station is offered by Pertemps Edinburgh Contracts on a full-time, temporary basis. The role involves managing live traffic movements, supporting users of the station, and maintaining facilities in a safe, clean condition. The successful candidate assists in managing passenger flow and responds to queries from travellers.
Working a rotating shift pattern of seven days on followed by three or four off, hours alternate between 06:15-14:45 and 14:15-22:40, with full flexibility across Monday to Sunday required. Pay ranges from £14.51 to £21.68 per hour, depending on shift timing.

- Weekday Standard - £14.51
- Weekday unsociable (Monday - Friday 6am-7am, 9pm - 12am) - £18.56
- Weekend standard (Sat&Sun, 7am-9pm) - £17.63
- Weekend unsociable (Sat&Sun 6am-7am, 9pm-12am) - £21.68
You must be fully flexible to work Monday to Sunday.
Duration: Ongoing temporary assignment.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in managing/developing and improving services and facilities at the bus station
- Ensuring that agreed levels of service are maintained
