Working 6pm until up to 3am, the Warehouse Operative - NIGHTS handles picking, packing, and goods movement. Pay is £13.63 per hour Monday to Friday, rising to £14.75 at weekends and up to £15.86 after 40 hours, with rates increasing following a twelve-week probation. A festive bonus offers potential extra earnings of £900 through December, paid weekly rather than deferred. Weekly overtime is available. As a Warehouse Operative you will be:
- Picking food products using a top voice pick system for a well-known supermarket
- Working in a chilled and ambient environment
- Breaking down and allocating goods
- Achieving targets and job standards set out by the shift manager
- Other duties which may include heavy lifting
The ideal Warehouse Operative will have the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience working in a warehouse environment is an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided
- Must have a good attention to detail
- Must have a positive attitude and be extremely reliable
- Ability to work under pressure, and to deadlines
- Punctual with excellent timekeeping and attendance
