Role
As a Counterbalance Forklift Driver, you will join Pertemps Royal Mail at their East London Distribution Centre (RM20 3ED). This full-time position pays £15.95 per hour and operates on a fixed Monday to Friday schedule from 8am to 4pm, with an immediate start available. Your primary duty involves safely operating forklift trucks to load, unload, and transfer mail and parcels throughout the warehouse. You will ensure goods are handled with precision, move stock to designated zones, and perform daily equipment checks to report any defects. Adhering to all health and safety protocols is essential. A valid, in-date Counterbalance licence and previous forklift experience within a busy distribution setting are required.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
- Valid, in-date Counterbalance forklift licence
- Previous experience operating a forklift in a busy warehouse or distribution environment.
- Strong awareness of health and safety practices.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
