The Corporate Tax Assistant Manager role, based in London, involves managing a varied compliance portfolio within a professional services firm. This permanent, full-time position offers hybrid remote working and a salary of £55,000 to £70,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities
- Managing a portfolio of corporate tax compliance cases and reporting to senior team members.
- Preparing corporation tax computations and tax returns for a varied client base.
- Preparing tax disclosures for financial statements and supporting deferred tax calculations where required.
- Working with owner‑managed SMEs, corporate groups, UK subsidiaries of international businesses, and non‑resident landlords.
- Supporting compliance with complex tax regimes including corporate interest restriction, transfer pricing, country‑by‑country reporting, and senior accounting officer requirements.
- Assisting with specialist tax reliefs including R&D, capital allowances, EIS/SEIS, and property‑related tax matters.
- Supporting share scheme work and non‑resident landlord compliance.
- Providing research and technical support on a range of corporate tax advisory projects.
- Assisting with advisory assignments including reorganisations, demergers, financing arrangements, cross‑border transactions, and transfer pricing matters.
- Liaising with clients and internal stakeholders in a professional and confident manner.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–4 years’ experience in corporate tax compliance, including group structures.
- ATT qualified or part‑qualified / qualified ACA or ACCA (CTA desirable but not essential).
- Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax compliance and reporting.
- Confident working across multiple clients and managing competing deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Self‑motivated, proactive, and eager to develop within a supportive environment.
