Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 360‑grab to sort, stockpile, and feed various waste streams into processing equipment.
- Use the loading shovel to move bulk materials and load bulkers or skips.
- Utilise the on‑site 3.5T telehandler trucks for transporting sorted materials and organising the yard safely.
- Complete daily pre‑start safety inspections and routine maintenance (greasing, fluid top‑ups) on all operated machinery.
- Maintain strict adherence to site health and safety rules within a busy, high‑volume waste environment.
Experience & Requirements (Essential)
- Proven track record working within the waste management or recycling industry.
- Hands‑on experience driving or operating a 360 excavator, loading shovel, or JCB.
- Relevant and valid plant cards (e. g., CPCS, NPORS) for 360 Excavator, Wheeled Loader, or Telehandler.
- Strong work ethic and the physical stamina required to handle a 12‑hour weekday shift pattern.
