The Role
- Construction disputes arising from major development and infrastructure projects.
- Adjudication, arbitration and court proceedings.
- Contractual disputes and claims relating to delay, disruption, defects and payment.
- Professional negligence claims involving construction professionals.
- Contract interpretation and disputes arising from standard form and bespoke construction contracts.
- Supporting senior lawyers on complex, high-value matters while taking responsibility for your own caseload.
- Developing strong client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives.
- The Candidate
- Solid contentious construction experience gained within a recognised construction team.
- Experience of adjudication and/or construction litigation.
- Strong technical drafting and analytical skills.
- The ability to manage a caseload effectively and work to deadlines.
- Excellent communication and client-handling skills.
- A commercial approach and genuine interest in developing your career within construction disputes.
