Compliance & Vetting Administrator
This temporary Compliance & Vetting Administrator role in West Bromwich runs for ten weeks, paying Β£13.33 hourly, Monday to Friday, 8:00am until 5:00pm.
Working alongside the recruitment team, the postholder processes candidates through vetting and compliance stages, confirming documentation and information remain accurate, complete and handled within set timescales.
The position supports a recruitment operation throughout the Royal Mail peak period.
Suitable applicants will be highly organised, computer literate and possess excellent attention to detail, thriving within a busy office team.
Duties suit someone methodical who enjoys administrative work with clear standards and deadlines.

Pertemps West Bromwich are looking for a Compliance & Vetting Administrator to join our busy team and support our recruitment operation during the Royal Mail peak period.
Working alongside our recruitment team, you will be responsible for processing candidates through the vetting and compliance stage, ensuring all required information and documentation is accurate, complete and processed within the required timescales.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is highly organised, computer literate and has excellent attention to detail , and who enjoys working in a busy team environment.
The Role
Once candidates have been recruited and their details passed across by the recruitment team, you will take responsibility for progressing them through the vetting and compliance process.
Duties of the Compliance & Vetting Administrator
- Processing candidate information accurately onto the relevant systems
- Entering and updating candidate details
- Checking documentation and information for completeness and accuracy
- Completing required vetting and compliance checks
- Identifying missing, incorrect or incomplete information
- Liaising with the recruitment team where further information or documentation is required
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date candidate records
- Ensuring candidates progress through the process efficiently and within required timescales
- Working to project deadlines and targets
- Handling confidential candidate information appropriately
Requirements of the Compliance & Vetting Administrator
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Confident using computers and learning new systems
- Accurate and methodical when processing information
- Comfortable working with a high volume of data and administration
- Able to follow set processes and procedures
- Good at spotting errors, discrepancies or missing information

- Previous experience within recruitment, compliance, vetting, administration or data entry would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
