Position Overview

Company Commercial Solicitor – Suffolk.

Salary: £50,000 – £70,000 per annum.

Full‑time role – requires approximately five years post‑qualification experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise owner‑managed businesses and SMEs on complex corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions and shareholder agreements.
  • Draft and negotiate corporate restructures, commercial contracts, business sales and purchases.
  • Provide legal advice on intellectual property and data protection matters.
  • Support clients in achieving their long‑term objectives through commercially driven recommendations.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum five years’ post‑qualification experience (5 PQE).
  • Solid grounding in corporate and commercial law.
  • Experience advising owner‑managed businesses and SMEs on a wide range of transactions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage transactions from instruction through to completion.
  • Strong drafting skills, excellent technical ability and a pragmatic approach to problem‑solving.
