The Role
- Driving a Class 2 (Cat C) HGV vehicle
- Operating a HIAB crane to load and unload materials
- Delivering building materials safely and efficiently
- Completing deliveries to customer and construction sites
- Securing loads correctly
- Completing relevant delivery paperwork
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks
- Providing excellent customer service
- Following all Drivers' Hours, WTD and health & safety regulations
- Tramping is not compulsory, although there may be opportunities for overnight stays for drivers who would like them
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Cat C) HGV licence
- Previous HIAB experience
- Valid HIAB qualification/certificate
- Valid CPC
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Good understanding of Drivers' Hours regulations
- Good driving record
- Reliable and professional attitude
- Comfortable with customer-facing deliveries
