The Role

  • Driving a Class 2 (Cat C) HGV vehicle
  • Operating a HIAB crane to load and unload materials
  • Delivering building materials safely and efficiently
  • Completing deliveries to customer and construction sites
  • Securing loads correctly
  • Completing relevant delivery paperwork
  • Carrying out daily vehicle checks
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Following all Drivers' Hours, WTD and health & safety regulations
  • Tramping is not compulsory, although there may be opportunities for overnight stays for drivers who would like them

Requirements

  • Valid Class 2 (Cat C) HGV licence
  • Previous HIAB experience
  • Valid HIAB qualification/certificate
  • Valid CPC
  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • Good understanding of Drivers' Hours regulations
  • Good driving record
  • Reliable and professional attitude
  • Comfortable with customer-facing deliveries
