A Purchasing Administrator is required in Clevedon for an immediate, temporary ongoing contract, paying £15–£16 per hour. Working Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm on-site, you will manage purchase orders from creation to delivery within the ERP system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, process and maintain purchase orders within the ERP system
- Verify pricing, quantities, supplier details and delivery dates
- Track open orders and monitor deliveries through to receipt
- Liaise with suppliers to confirm schedules and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain accurate procurement records and system data
- Escalate delivery delays, shortages and supply risks promptly
- Support invoice reconciliation and three-way matching
- Produce reports on outstanding orders and overdue deliveries
About You:
- Previous experience in purchasing, procurement or supply chain administration
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
- Confident using ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills when working with suppliers and internal teams
- Proactive in identifying and escalating potential supply issues
