Class 2 Driver - Night Shifts

The Class 2 Driver - Night Shifts position at a fish production company in Ponders End involves delivering fresh products on scheduled night routes.

Location

Brimsdown, Enfield.

Shift Pattern

Sunday to Thursday or Monday to Friday nights, starting 11:00pm, 10‑hour shift.

Salary

£37,440 – £38,700 per annum.

Job Type

Permanent, Full‑time.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the movement and handling of boxes of fish weighing between 1kg and 24kg.
• Support loading activities prior to departure.
• Count delivery units and verify loads before leaving the site.
• Check and double‑check delivery notes against loaded stock.
• Complete between 3 and 10 deliveries per shift.
• Deliver products safely, professionally and efficiently.
• Maintain high standards of customer service at delivery locations.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and ensure compliance with transport regulations.
• Return completed paperwork and report any discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous multi‑drop delivery experience preferred.
• Good attention to detail when checking orders and delivery documentation.
• Physically fit and comfortable handling products up to 24kg.
• Reliable, punctual and professional attitude.
• Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules effectively.
