Job Details
We are seeking a Class 1 Driver – Trunking to join a parcel distribution operation in Silvertown. This full‑time, temporary position offers £19.00 per hour for days and £20.50 per hour for nights, with a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern and guaranteed 12‑hour shifts. Drivers will operate brand new electric vehicles and have immediate starts available.
Responsibilities
- Trunking parcel loads between depots and distribution centres
- Driving from Silvertown to locations across the North of England
- Ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed safely and on time
- Completing vehicle checks and required paperwork
- Maintaining high standards of professionalism at all times
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- Digital tachograph card
- Good understanding of driver hours and working time regulations
- Reliable, professional and safety‑focused attitude
- Previous trunking experience desirable but not essential
