As a Class 1 Driver based in London, you will operate from Gatwick on behalf of Pertemps Royal Mail, earning between £22.41 and £25.53 per hour on a flexible contract. This role involves trunking mail between national depots with no handballing, utilising planned routes across morning, evening, and weekend shifts.
Your key duties include:
- Transporting mail between sites
- Performing thorough vehicle checks
- Maintaining safety standards
- Representing Royal Mail professionally
A valid HGV Class 1 (C E) licence is essential for this ongoing temporary position, which offers consistent work through 2026.
What You Need:
- Valid HGV Class 1 / C E licence (held for 2 years)
- A valid and in date CPC digital tachograph card
- 180 days of Class 1 driving experience in the last 2 years
- Max 6 points on your licence
- Able to pass vetting & DBS checks
