Manpower UK is seeking a Class 1 Driver to join a busy logistics operation in Corby. This temporary role offers a rate of up to £17.00 per hour, with a working pattern of days totalling 50 hours per week. Immediate starts are available for this position. As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for completing deliveries and collections safely and efficiently.
Daily vehicle checks are required, with any defects reported promptly. Maintaining regular communication with the transport office regarding schedules is essential. The role demands a professional, reliable driver committed to safety and high operational standards, working closely with the transport team to ensure compliant and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Complete deliveries and collections safely and efficiently.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
- Maintain regular communication with the transport office regarding schedules and instructions.
- Ensure all delivery paperwork and proof of delivery records are completed accurately.
- Assist with loading and unloading when required.
- Correctly use driver technology and apps to support compliance and operational visibility.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and roadworthy vehicle at all times.
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.
- Minimum 2 years of Class 1 driving experience.
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Maximum of 6 penalty points for insurance purposes.
- Must be physically fit, as the role will involve manual handling and loading/unloading duties.
- Professional, safety‑conscious approach to driving.
- Reliable, customer‑focused, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
