The MEP Building Services QC Leader will oversee quality assurance across commercial, residential, and mixed-use schemes up to £500 million in the City of London, operating within zones 1–6. Reporting to the Head of Building Services, this permanent position focuses on identifying design, workmanship, materials, and interface risks during construction.
Responsibilities include:
- Driving defect prevention through targeted control of high-risk activities.
- Ensuring timely close-out before close-up, and feeding structured lessons learned into quality targets.
- Providing evidence-based outputs to support project accountability.
- Minimising legacy period costs by identifying and addressing quality risks before project completion.
- Verifying whether ITPs and inspection records for Building Services are in place and being followed for critical activities.
- Contributing to asset performance by supporting investigations and resolutions relating to quality issues arising during the legacy period.
Candidates require substantial MEP quality leadership experience on major London projects. The role offers £130,000–£140,000 per annum plus package, with hybrid working arrangements available. This MEP QC Leader will work on multiple commercial office, residential, and mixed-use construction projects up to £500 million, mainly working on London-centric contracts from zones 1 to 6 on the London Underground Map.
