Associate Director - Structural Engineering
The Associate Director - Structural Engineering position in Central London offers a permanent contract with a salary between £75,000 and £85,000, plus a comprehensive package and hybrid working.
This role involves leading building structures projects valued from £50m to £400m across the UK and internationally.
You will manage project delivery while receiving mentorship from experienced directors, applying a practical, hands-on engineering approach to guide outcomes.

Candidates should possess substantial structural engineering experience, ideally within a consultancy setting, and demonstrate the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams effectively.
- Team management, business development and winning work, the preparation of feasibility studies, concept and scheme design reports, design calculations (a working knowledge Eurocodes is desired), preparation of contract documents and specifications and supervision of staff.
- The role also involves undertaking project management tasks for certain projects and dealing with clients.
- Specific objectives include: - To provide high level technical services. - To provide support, training and guidance to other staff. - To develop and retain specialist knowledge. - Reporting to the building structures director and managing graduates/junior members of staff.
- Experience of working in a similar high calibre UK structures design consultancy is essential, typically with at least 10 years practical design experience.
Chartered Engineer status is desirable.
