My client a multi-national Aerospace andamp; Defence organisation are looking for a Software Integration Engineer to be based out of their Christchurch site in Dorset.
What you''ll be doing:
- Building and configuring Windows Server 2019/2022 and Windows 10/11 operating systems.
- Integration and configuration of COTS and bespoke software.
- Adherence to software engineering practices
- Fault finding and resolution of issues in a production environment to a successful conclusion
- Producing clear and concise technical documentation
- Collaboration with other members of the team: sharing knowledge and peer reviewing others work
- Reporting on progress and providing feedback to team members and leadership
- Occasional travel to customer sites to support deployment, investigations and testing
Skills andamp; Experience:
- You''ll be able to use PowerShell and Microsoft Deployment Toolkit to install and configure COTS and bespoke software on Windows 10 and Server 2019
- You''ll have knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and MDT alternate deployment approaches for deploying Windows 11 and Server 2022 (desirable)
- You''ll have knowledge and experience of Group Policy and Active Directory
- You''ll be able to produce clear technical documentation
