Project - Multiple projects in High Power area.

Location - Great Baddow

Clearance - SC cleared to start

Contract Length - 12 months

Onsite requirement - 3 dpw on site in Chelmsford

The Opportunity

We are looking for RF / Analogue Design Engineers to support the development of advanced high-power and high-energy subsystems, including within innovative directed energy programmes. You will work at the forefront of technology, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, customers, and partners to deliver pioneering solutions in a highly specialised environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and validate RF and analogue circuitry for high-power / high-voltage applications
  • Contribute to the development of advanced subsystems within directed energy and energy-intensive platforms
  • Apply knowledge of energy storage technologies to system-level design and integration
  • Support bid activities, technical proposals, and programme delivery
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams, customers, and partners to deliver innovative solutions

Skills & Experience Required

  • RF Engineers with strong practical and theoretical knowledge
  • Background in analogue circuit design
  • Proven experience in design engineering within complex systems
  • Ideally you will have experience working with high power and/or high voltage systems, alternatively be very willing to learn
  • Understanding of energy storage technologies (e.g., capacitive systems, pulsed power, batteries)
  • Ability to work within multidisciplinary teams and contribute to technically challenging programmes
