Job Summary
Permanent Chartered Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager position in the City of London. Salary £60,000–£70,000 plus pension and bonus.
Responsibilities
- Pre‑ and post‑contract work, including cost management and client liaison.
- Take ownership of live projects from initiation through to hand‑over and completion.
- Prepare cost plans and tender documentation, and conduct tender analysis.
- Manage contractor procurement and provide recommendations to the client.
- Administer contracts and oversee project delivery to agreed price and time.
Qualifications
- MRICS qualified with 2–3 years of post‑qualification experience.
- BSc in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or a related subject.
- Experience in pre‑ and post‑contract work, contract administration and cost planning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage projects sized between £200k and £30m.
