The Principal Civil Engineer position in Cardiff involves delivering infrastructure and drainage designs for commercial, battery energy storage, water, and renewable energy projects. This contract role requires proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroDrainage or Flow Design.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing Section Agreements (278/38/104) and technical drawings
- Collaborating with engineers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions
- Line management within the wider team
Skills required:
- Solid experience with potable, surface, and foul water design and/or construction
- Adept at 3D design and modelling using software such as MicroDrainage and/or InfoDrainage
- Water Authority statutory approval processes such as S104, S106 etc
- SuDS Approval Body involvement
