The Company is an established facilities management company specialising in the food and beverage industry. We’ve built our reputation on getting the right job done, at the right price, for our clients. This role sits at the heart of operational efficiency and client satisfaction. They are now looking for someone who understands maintenance, trades and contractors to help us manage our growing network of contractors. You might be an experienced tradesperson looking to ‘get off the tools’, a supervisor looking for an office-based role, or you are already experienced in contractor management. What matters is that you understand the world of property maintenance, can speak confidently to contractors, and manage multiple orders at the same time. The role is essentially about getting the right contractor onto the right job.

What you will be doing:

  • Allocating maintenance and planned orders to contractors across the country
  • Speaking with contractors to discuss availability and arrange attendance
  • Finding and onboarding new subcontractors where we need additional coverage
  • Managing live jobs and chasing progress where required
  • Making sure reports, photos and paperwork are returned within job deadline
  • Audit each job to ensure the correct works have been carried out, especially on emergency repairs.
  • Ensure costings are accurate before purchase and sales invoice processing
  • Daily team meetings to discuss priorities with the team.
  • Build and maintain relationships with reliable contractors.
  • Verify contractor qualifications, insurance, certifications and compliance documents.
  • Maintain an up-to-date approved subcontractor database.

  • Is comfortable using job management software
  • Understands job costing, invoicing and commercial control
