Ready to play a key role on a major mission-critical project? We're looking for an experienced Commissioning Engineer to join a high-profile data centre programme in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge critical infrastructure, delivering complex commissioning activities within a fast-paced and technically challenging environment.
Location: Cardiff (5 days per week on site)
Contract: Initial 6 months (with potential for extension)
- Deliver commissioning activities in line with project schedules and commissioning plans.
- Carry out installation inspections, pre-functional checks, and functional testing.
- Commission critical infrastructure including UPS systems, generators, switchgear, transformers, chillers, CRAH/CRAC units, BMS, and EPMS systems.
- Support and participate in Level 1-5 commissioning activities and Integrated Systems Testing (IST).
- Work alongside leading contractors, vendors, and project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Proven commissioning experience within mission-critical facilities or data centres.
- Experience supporting commissioning, testing, and handover activities in live or high-availability environments.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving project environment and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
