This role is for a cafe sous chef based in London, working with a charming cafe/restaurant in Hammersmith. The establishment focuses on fresh, seasonal, and sophisticated dishes for breakfast, brunch and lunch, plus private dining for up to 15 guests three evenings weekly. The position is permanent with a competitive salary of £40,000, offering overtime paid per hour, generous pension schemes and meals provided on duty. Working 48 hours per week across a seven-day operation, the successful candidate must be a reliable individual capable of confidently running the kitchen in the head chef’s absence. Key skills include culinary proficiency, leadership and a commitment to quality over quantity.
