Stock Controller – Temp to Perm
Location: Burton upon Trent.
Pay: £14.95 per hour.
Shift: Weekly rotating 12‑hour shifts (days and nights) on a 4‑on, 4‑off pattern, including weekend work.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor stock levels and conduct regular inventory audits.
- Process deliveries, issue stock products, and accurately record goods into the stock system.
- Release products on back order and confirm customer deliveries promptly.
- Conduct rotational stock checks, record locations for new products, and adjust stock levels as needed.
- Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and authorised where necessary.
- Attend site meetings and follow up on any issues within the store.
- Provide customer service excellence and maintain professional relationships with clients.
Requirements
- Prior stock control experience and strong organisational skills to manage inventory and documentation.
- Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem‑solving and teamwork abilities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Customer‑focused mindset with a commitment to delivering excellent client service.
Hours & Benefits
Shift Pattern: 4-on, 4-off rotating 12-hour shifts (06:00–18:00 / 18:00–06:00).
Extended periods off are built into the rotation.
