As an Air Conditioning Engineer - Buckinghamshire, you will service and repair HVAC systems across commercial sites, including offices, telecoms, and NHS properties.
Based in Buckingham, your patch covers Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, and Oxfordshire, keeping travel local and your work-life balance intact.
This permanent role with RGB pays between Β£46,000 and Β£47,000 annually.
You will handle planned maintenance and reactive callouts, diagnosing faults efficiently across split systems, VRFs, and close-control units.
The established contractor, active for over four decades, values staff retention and offers steady, long-term work.
You will need relevant F-Gas certification and solid technical fault-finding experience. Typical hours are Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime available.

The Role
Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an Air Conditioning Engineer to carry out service, maintenance and fault-finding duties when required.

Key Responsibilities
- Service and planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Reactive fault finding and diagnosis
- Compressor replacements
- System repairs and breakdown attendance
- Working across a variety of commercial client sites
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety requirements
- Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience within commercial air conditioning
- Strong service background
- Experience working on VRV, VRF, Split, Multi-Split and AHU systems
- Competent fault-finding skills
- Experience carrying out compressor changes and major repairs
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Strong customer-facing communication skills
