Overview
Tenancy Co-ordinator responsible for managing the full tenancy application lifecycle, ensuring each case progresses efficiently.
Responsibilities include Right to Rent checks, gathering documentation, preparing tenancy agreements, overseeing tenant referencing, and supporting the lettings team to maintain smooth operations.
This is a full-time role with a salary in the £28,000–£30,000 range and hours from 8:45am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, with no weekend work.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the progression of new tenancy applications from start to finish.
- Carry out Right to Rent checks and obtain all required documentation.
- Prepare tenancy agreements and ensure all compliance requirements are met.
- Manage tenant referencing and follow up on outstanding information.
- Set up and renew Rent & Legal Protection (RLP) policies.
- Maintain accurate tenancy, compliance and policy records.
- Provide administrative support to the lettings team when required.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in lettings, property or a similar administrative role is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.
- An understanding of tenancy administration and Right to Rent legislation would be beneficial.
- Knowledge of Rent & Legal Protection policies is an advantage.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
